On-the-Job Training (OJT) incentives are designed to compensate employers for the time spent training new employees. These programs also strengthen New Jersey’s workforce by training workers to succeed in today’s labor market.

Employer Partnership program

The Employer Partnership Program helps businesses grow by training workers to satisfy business needs. This program helps defray the cost to businesses of training new employees and provides unemployed workers enhanced skills and a pathway to permanent, full-time employment.

Employers can receive wage-based compensation, tax credits, and training benefits for hiring WorkFirst New Jersey (WFNJ) participants.

Mature worker (55+) incentives
