Opportunity Partnership Program

The Opportunity Partnership program helps displaced workers secure employment by providing training in specific occupational or credential areas. Employers have identified these skills or credentials as required before jobseekers are considered eligible for positions within their company.

Skills Partnership Program

Skills Partnership training funds reimburse New Jersey employers up to 50 percent of the cost of training. Funds are used to train new or existing employees to meet the skill requirements for available high-skill, high-wage jobs in New Jersey.

Atlantic City Reemployment National Emergency Grant

Under this program, new employees receive training for a specific skills set. This program defrays some of the costs of training new employees and gives unemployed workers new skills, as well as permanent, full-time employment. Employers who hire and train eligible dislocated casino workers can receive a grant for up to 90 percent of the new hires’ wages – up to $10,000 per worker, for up to six months.

Registered Apprenticeship

Registered apprenticeship is a proven solution for recruiting, training, and retaining world-class talent. It is a relationship between an employer and an employee during which the employee, or apprentice, learns a high-skill occupation. The registered apprenticeship model combines both classroom/related technical instruction (RTI) and on-the-job training. A sponsor, who can be an individual employer or an association of employers, operates the apprentice training programs on a voluntary basis.
