Posting H-2B Job Orders
Please note that in accordance with the 2015 Final Interim Ruling, your Job Order will be held in “suspend” status and will NOT be posted until a Notice of Acceptance has been received from the Chicago National Processing Center approving your entire application. Once notified, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development will post your job order for no less than 10 days (if the start date is prior to October 1, 2015). If your date of need is October 1, 2015 or later, the job order will remain active until 21 days before your date of need. View the 2015 Final Interim Ruling.
New Applicants with Dates of Need on or After October 1, 2015 MUST: File a job order with the State Workforce Agency (SWA) 90 to 75 days prior to the date of need.
Job orders for permanent foreign labor certification applications (PERM and H-1B) should be posted using OnRamp.
Please allow at least 72 hours for the job order to post on OnRamp, New Jersey's job board.
If you received a NJ Job Order Number, use capital letters (e.g. NJ0000000) to search for the job posting using the Job ID search tool on OnRamp.
